Crimping Tool Kit Omer
Crimping tool designed specifically for spearfishing applications. It features three different diameters sections and a cutting edge. It is supplied with black monofilament and 12 sleeves.
All divers have the need to properly rig each shaft with a strong and appropriate monofilament line of the correct thickness and breaking strength. The monofilament reduces friction, compared to similar thickness braids, and it decreases the possibility of entanglement, in the front of the gun, during the shot. Monofilament is not easily made into knots over a certain thickness so, the most efficient and strong way to join loops, is by using sleeves of the appropriate dimension. Copper sleeves and some alloy sleeve are double shotgun barrel shaped while some are single hole. But, regardless of the type, this crimping tool ensures that, when used with the correct setting/sleeve, the crimped monofilament is small and strong. A crimped monofilament loop also reduces friction in the water compared to a larger knot and the possibility of entanglement in the front of the gun.
