The Atlas Adj 62X underwater regulator is the new all-metal regulator produced by Mares. This new high performance sub regulator meets the expectations of even the most demanding divers. The 62X first stage is also equipped with AST (Auto Sealing Technology), which protects against the ingress of water into the first stage and uses the DFC (Dynamic Flow Control) System which guarantees a high and constant air flow.
The second stage is completely made of metal which makes it solid, sturdy and reliable. The ATLAS ADJ 62X is the best recreational regulator in the industry for use in cold water and for use in deep diving. An excellent sub regulator, at a very competitive price.
Mares engineers designed the Atlas Adj 62X regulator with the most extreme conditions in mind. The second stage, entirely in metal, offers high thermal conductivity, making it one of the best performing regulators even for diving in cold water. Particularly resistant, it is designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding diving environments. With performance standards that exceed expectations at 200m and proven technology at 400m, the Atlas ADJ 62X is ready to live up to the high standards that divers have come to expect from Mares regulators.
FIRST STAGE
This new 62X TBP first stage is the first recreational regulator from Mares to be equipped with the twin piston anti-freeze kit (TBP). The 62X first stage is also equipped with AST (Auto Sealing Technology), which protects against the ingress of water into the first stage and uses the DFC (Dynamic Flow Control) System which guarantees a high and constant air flow.

SECOND STAGE
The new Atlas second stage features the PAD (Pneumatically Assisted Design) system in combination with the VAD (Vortex Assisted Design) system patented by Mares. This synergy allows a high flow of air, offering fluid and comfortable breathing at all depths and with extreme temperatures. The passage of air inside the by-pass where there are no moving parts, the possible formation of ice crystals during diving in cold water is never a problem.
The Atlas second stage is equipped with a large pivoting purge button and a knob for easy adjustment of breathing comfort even when wearing gloves. The Atlas regulator uses a Superflex low pressure hose which, thanks to its lightness and flexibility, guarantees high comfort during use.
