The new Prestige SLS encapsulates our years of experience and technology here at Mares into a single top-of-the-line product that satisfies divers refusing to compromise.
With detailed research into the chest and shoulder area, we’ve fine-tuned the fit in this new vest by delivering a profile dedicated to each size, providing a true fit and better freedom of movement for the arms. The combination of the new profile, swiveling buckles on the shoulders, and the ergonomic cut of the BCD, result in a product with unprecedented ergonomic fit and comfort.
The Prestige SLS offers excellent lift capacity and is lighter in total weight: ranging from 3.3kg in the XXS She Dives style to 4kg in the XL Man’s size. To achieve this, we are using special materials and created a design that decreases the weight of the vest by a kilo compared to the previous version. For example, the bag is constructed of 420 Denier nylon, a very lightweight material that is also incredibly durable, resisting tears and abrasions. These evolutions also make the Prestige SLS an ideal vest for traveling.
The innovative second-generation integrated SLS system (Slide and Lock System) is reduced in size while maintaining its unique characteristics: more stable weight retention, larger sealing surfaces, active mechanical locking system, quick release mechanism, guide tunnel for easier insertion, and visual feedback to confirm correct insertion.
The Prestige SLS boasts a 3-D self-draining pocket with zip closure and rear trim weight pockets. Available in two-color options, blue for Men and white for Women (She Dives collection). The She Dives option is specifically cut for women and comes in a smaller size range. All of this allows divers to fully appreciate their dives in comfort and safety.
